How it Started

2013

I began singing at age nine. I attended the Bighorn Bluegrass Camp in Buffalo, WY and was hooked on Bluegrass Music and found my signature instrument, the mandolin. I connected with Bluegrass Songwriter and Gold Award Winner David Stewart who quickly became one of my biggest mentors and supporters.

2014

At age ten I wrote my first “hit”, Red Dirt in My Soul after spending time at my 100-year-old Great Grandpa Greet's ranch. This was also the first music video I created with the help of my amazing parents Brad & Alisa Palser.

Around that same time, I connected with two other peer musicians, Morgan Blaney and Holly Qualm. Together, we formed the band, Prairie Wildfire and started performing.

2015

After a couple years, Holly took a step away from the band and we ushered in a new sound by bringing in the incredible vocalist and banjo player, Tessa Taylor. With this new formation, the band turned into something truly special. A dynamic trio that got signed by Turnberry Records. We were over the moon.

2021

In 2021, we recorded our first self titled album and had our cd release party in the Beer Garden at The Historic Occidental Hotel. It was a well attended event and we were so grateful to be surrounded by so much support by our families, loved ones, and our hometown community of Buffalo, WY. This album had songs including “What Crosses Your Mind” and “Solid Ground” reach the top of the Bluegrass Charts.

2022

In 2022, the band experienced great success including being asked to perform at the IBGM Awards. I also experienced another incredible music milestone, Danny Paisley heard me perform a song I had co-written, with David Stewart, What Crosses Your Mind while recording in Nashville, TN and asked if he could record it. Then something even more wonderful happened - he asked me to record it WITH him. I was estatic and humbled to take part in this experience.

2024

After much discussion with the other band members I headed back to Tennessee in January to finish my Bachelors in Sound Engineering and Morgan, Tessa, and I realized that we were embarking on different life paths and musical journeys. We played our final official set together as a band at the 2024 January Jam at The Historic Occidental Hotel.

Where I’m Headed

In May of 2024, I will graduate with my degree in sound engineering from East Tennessee State University. I plan to simultaneously pursue my passion for performing and my career in sound engineering.

I look forward to continuing to pursue music in whatever format that takes under . In the meantime, if you’re looking for some great live music or a fresh technical *genius* in the recording studio, drop me a line.
